    • A thorough vetting of all listings on our website through physical space checks, phone verification and social ID verification,

    • Space Next Door Property and Goods Guarantee protects your items in storage up to $1,000 in case of damage or theft.

    Please note that SND is not able to guarantee the level of security at any of our Hosts' spaces.

    We provide a safe and easy payment platform for you on Space Next Door. To ensure that Guests pay the monthly rent, we have set aside a payment chaser team to ensure that you get your payout on-time. Under our Terms Of Service, we recognize a transaction only when it is made through us.

  • 🤔 What methods of payment does Space Next Door accept?


    We currently accept only 💳 credit card payments including 💳 Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

  • 🤔 When and how do I get my security deposit refunded?

    Your security deposit will be refunded back to the credit card that you have used for your latest payment within 14 days from the storage end date.

  • 🤔 How can I terminate the storage when I don’t need it anymore?

    You will need to give us at least 16 days’ notice in order to terminate the storage. Termination of storage is allowed only after you have fulfilled the minimum storage period set by the Host upon booking.

    Minimum storage period is set by the Host and can be found on each space listing. Typically the minimum storage period is set as one of the following options:
    - One week

    Access will vary from host to host. The level of access of the space is indicated on the listing by the Host. You will be able to contact your Host to arrange for move in and subsequent access once booking is successful.

    💰 Security Deposit is a refundable amount which SND collects from the Guest.
    It serves as the purpose of protecting the host against damage of host's properties or late rent payment.

    Once transaction is completed and host did not file any claims on property damage, the full amount is refundable to Guest.

    To help cover the cost of processing payments, a guest service fee is collected at the reservation.

    The guest service fee is calculated at 10% of the total rental fee.

    The total price you pay for your booking includes the following charges:

    1. The rental price:
    📌 This is the price displayed on the listing. After entering the dates of your storage period, the total price would be calculated accordingly.

    2. Guest Service Fee:
    📌 Space Next Door charges a service fee when you complete and book a space. See details about the service fees.

    3. Security Deposit:
    📌 This is a fee collected to protect the landlord against any property damage during the use of the space. This fee is refunded upon the end of the lease.

  • 🤔 What if my booking request is declined by the host?

    If your reservation request is declined by the host, no charge is made for the reservation and you’re free to book with another host.

    We urge our hosts to keep their calendars up to date and respond to requests in a timely manner. But, sometimes situations come up that prevent this from happening.

    We recommend messaging several hosts before submitting a reservation request to ask about their availability and ask any other questions you have.
